What you will do

• Gather information and design, create, and configure monitoring tools.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including analytics, large-scale data processing, real-time systems, and business management information systems.
• Work independently and as part of a software engineering team, including direct customer interaction and product demonstrations.
• Review and test software components against design requirements and document test results.
• Resolve software problem reports and contribute to system design, requirements analysis, software reuse, and COTS/GOTS evaluations.
• Participate in daily scrum meetings and use Jira to create and monitor tickets.

Requirements

• Current or active security clearance with polygraph is required.
• Must be willing to work in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.
• Fourteen years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or five or more additional years of software engineering experience as a substitution.
• Experience with Java, preferably version 21 or later, Docker image creation and vulnerability reduction, and a modern JavaScript framework.
• Experience with customer interaction, product demonstrations, software design, testing, and problem resolution.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue.js.
• Experience building and publishing Spring Boot REST APIs.
• Knowledge of PULSE, ABACUS, RAD, eVo, Greybox, Mockito, low-side development, Bash, and Linux-based tools.
