TL;DR
AI Software Engineer (Python/LLM/Geospatial): Building AI-enabled services, agentic workflows, APIs, data pipelines, and user interfaces for a regenerative agriculture SaaS platform with an accent on production AI, geospatial data, and reliable cloud infrastructure. Focus on designing LangGraph and LangChain systems, developing multi-model architectures, processing agricultural and imagery data, and ensuring model outputs meet accuracy and auditability standards.
Location: Remote within the United States; offices in Houston, Texas and Park City, Utah. Applicants must currently be eligible to work in the United States.
Base salary: $115,000–$145,000 per year, plus target annual bonus and stock options.

What you will do
- Design, build, and operate LLM-powered and agentic workflows using LangGraph, LangChain, and AWS Bedrock AgentCore.
- Develop production AI and machine learning services in Python, including Mixture-of-Experts and multi-model architectures.
- Build backend services and RESTful APIs with Django, PostgreSQL, and PostGIS.
- Implement internal tools and user-facing features with TypeScript and Vue.js.
- Build data pipelines for geospatial, agronomic, imagery, and third-party data, and maintain partner API integrations.
- Deploy, scale, test, and monitor services on AWS while ensuring model and data quality.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional experience building and shipping production software.
- Strong Python proficiency, including modern application frameworks, testing, and packaging.
- Production experience with large language models or other machine learning models.
- Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, RESTful APIs, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Ability to work independently on ambiguous problems and communicate technical trade-offs clearly.
- Current eligibility to work in the United States is required. A bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent practical experience is expected.
Nice to have
- Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, Amazon Bedrock, Mixture-of-Experts, model routing, or ensemble systems.
- Production experience with Django, TypeScript, JavaScript, Vue.js, PostgreSQL performance tuning, or PostGIS.
- Experience with geospatial formats, coordinate systems, raster and vector processing, remote sensing imagery, GDAL, rasterio, GeoPandas, or Shapely.
- Experience building large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines, AWS services, or robust third-party integrations.
- Background in agriculture, agronomy, remote sensing, climate, energy, or environmental markets.
