Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Fully remote, with authorization to work in the United States required

What you will do

• Own complex technical projects from ambiguous problem definition through architecture, development, deployment, and production iteration.
• Build systems behind customer-facing AI agents used by large media agencies.
• Use agentic coding to increase engineering output and help establish team-wide development practices.
• Design scalable systems while improving reliability, performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Set standards for code quality and testing in an agent-assisted codebase, and mentor teammates.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, customer teams, and stakeholders as requirements evolve.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience solving complex technical problems.
• Deep daily experience integrating AI coding agents into the development workflow and verifying their output.
• Experience owning loosely defined requirements and delivering production-quality products.
• Experience building and debugging large-scale production systems.
• Strong experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure and modern DevOps practices.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Public artifacts demonstrating agentic workflows, such as context files, MCP servers, or agent co-authored commits.
• Hands-on experience with large language models, including evaluations, tool use, agent orchestration, or LLM-powered products.
• Depth in a second specialty: backend, full stack, data, or infrastructure.
• Security experience with sensitive data and previous early-stage startup experience.
