Fullstack Software Developer (Java/Python)

Location: Full-time in-person work in Aurora, Colorado, or Sterling, Virginia, US

Salary: $125,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop frontend and backend components for the SHIV program dashboard.
• Build features for program metrics, release notes, and integration testing status.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, iteration planning, demos, and retrospectives.
• Design scalable and secure solutions using current technologies.
• Deploy software through a fully automated DevOps pipeline.
• Solve complex technical problems and collaborate with other developers.

Requirements

• Must have TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph, or be willing to obtain a CI polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent related experience.
• Availability to work full-time in person in Aurora, Colorado, or Sterling, Virginia.
• Proficiency with Linux development and command-line tools.
• Ability to learn new technologies, collaborate, and solve problems with others.

Nice to have

• Experience with web platform technologies and current web standards.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps processes.
• Experience with database systems and source code management tools.
• Experience with container management, especially Kubernetes.
