Senior Fullstack Software Developer (Java)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; remote or on-site

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain customer-centric microservices across frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop robust systems and support applications according to the “you build it, you run it” principle.
• Write clean, high-quality code with attention to performance and security through pair programming, code reviews, and TDD.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, architects, testers, and project managers in agile project teams.
• Contribute to technology improvements, conferences, online learning, and innovation projects.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, or an equivalent qualification.
• 7+ years of experience in software development or architecture.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, or another modern programming language, with strong web development and microservices experience.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD automation, object-relational databases, and SQL scripting.
• Experience with operations or DevOps concepts and ownership of microservices.
• Fluent written and spoken English and the ability to work collaboratively in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue.js 3, Nuxt 3, or Vite.
• Knowledge of software architecture and self-contained microservices.
• Cloud development experience, preferably with GCP and tools such as CloudSQL, Pub/Sub, GKE, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Experience in AI and agent development.
