Lead Full Stack Software Engineer (Java)

Location: Bulgaria, Poland, or Romania; remote/office work options

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features for financial, procurement, and contract-management information systems.
• Build Java and Spring back-end services, Oracle and PL/SQL data layers, and JavaScript and jQuery front ends.
• Own application and database performance, security, data integrity, schema design, and query optimization.
• Lead the migration of legacy Adobe ColdFusion applications to the Java and Spring stack.
• Design and secure RESTful APIs and integrate systems with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office, PDF workflows, and related web services.
• Apply event sourcing, CQRS, UML modeling, CI/CD, Git workflows, Agile, Scrum, and Open PM2 practices.

Requirements

• Master's degree or five years of higher education, with at least 15 years of professional IT experience.
• At least 10 years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
• At least 12 years of experience with Oracle and PL/SQL, including Oracle 19+, materialized views, stored procedures, functions, schema design, and query optimization across MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
• At least five years of experience with Java 17+, Spring 6+, Spring Boot 3+, RESTful APIs, and web services.
• Experience with financial and procurement systems, contract management, document workflows, Adobe ColdFusion migration, SharePoint, Atlassian tools, Git, UML, event sourcing, and CQRS.
• English and French at B2 or higher are required, with the ability to participate in multilingual meetings.
