Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

Location: Hybrid in Brno, Czech Republic; applicants must be based in the Czech Republic or have sponsorship to live and work there.

What you will do

• Build and evolve a shared frontend platform and framework-agnostic Web Components design system.
• Develop micro-frontend infrastructure using dynamically federated micro-frontends.
• Design component and service APIs with backward compatibility and versioning for multiple consuming teams.
• Debug cross-framework and runtime issues involving Shadow DOM, event encapsulation, and Module Federation dependency resolution.
• Create feature designs, documentation, tooling, and technical solutions across React, Vue, and Angular.
• Use AI coding tools to accelerate development while validating output and maintaining platform-level quality.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience building enterprise-grade software and using current programming languages and tools.
• Strong TypeScript and JavaScript fundamentals, including asynchronous patterns, the DOM, custom elements, and Shadow DOM.
• Professional experience with React and working knowledge of Vue 3 and Angular.
• Experience with monorepos and tools such as Nx, pnpm workspaces, and Vite.
• Experience with Vitest for unit and component testing and Playwright for end-to-end and visual regression testing.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts, break down ambiguous problems, and work independently to deliver high-quality software.

Nice to have

• Experience with micro-frontend architecture, Module Federation, and runtime service or dependency injection across frameworks.
• Experience with design-token pipelines, Style Dictionary, or build and bundler plugins.
• AWS and infrastructure-as-code exposure, including CDK or CloudFront.
• Accessibility knowledge including WCAG, focus management, and Shadow DOM implications.
• Experience in agile organizations and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
