Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (Auth Experiences)

Location: Remote within the United States

Base pay: $195,000–$255,000 per year in CA, WA, NY, NJ, and CT; $173,000–$233,000 per year in other U.S. states.

What you will do

• Own and deliver quarterly team goals while leading engineers through ambiguous, open-ended problems.
• Build and maintain authentication, verification, and fraud-prevention journeys across backend, web, and mobile interfaces.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to evaluate technical constraints, risks, and trade-offs.
• Operate high-availability, low-latency systems by creating metrics, monitoring services, and supporting on-call operations.
• Improve code review and design standards, and contribute through technical writing and talks.
• Develop team talent through feedback, guidance, and technical leadership.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience developing and architecting web applications with declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience defining technical plans for significant features or system components with simple, extensible designs.
• Ability to make substantial changes safely in large codebases using effective tools and practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
• A related bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
