Full-Stack Software Developer (Java/Python)

Location: Sterling, Virginia, US; 100% onsite full-time

Northstrat is hiring a software developer for a program focused on a comprehensive customer dashboard.

What you will do

• Develop frontend and backend components for a dashboard covering program metrics, release notes, and integration testing status.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, iteration planning, demos, and retrospectives.
• Solve complex software development problems using modern technologies.
• Build scalable and secure solutions.
• Deploy applications through a fully automated DevOps pipeline.

Requirements

• Must have TS/SCI with CI polygraph clearance or be willing to obtain a CI polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent related experience.
• Available to work 100% onsite full time in Sterling, Virginia.
• Proficiency with Linux development and command-line tools.
• Ability to collaborate and solve problems with others.
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with web platform technologies and current web standards.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps processes.
• Experience with database systems and source code management tools.
• Experience with container management, particularly Kubernetes.
