Pharmacist, Entry Level Closed-Door (Healthcare Technology)

What you will do

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support pharmacy management across daily workflow.
• Oversee prescription data entry, documentation confidentiality, and quality control.
• Receive, process, and transfer prescriptions while owning successful completion from start to finish.
• Verify filled prescriptions and clinically review new and refill prescriptions for accuracy, interactions, contraindications, and appropriate dosing.
• Provide patient counseling and medication education by phone, including guidance on side effects, adherence, refills, and proper medication use.
• Collaborate with prescribers, pharmacies, pharmacy leadership, and corporate teams while following State and Federal laws.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Active Missouri Pharmacy License in good standing is required.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience; mail order, specialty, or closed-door fulfillment pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Additional active pharmacy licenses in AK, AL, AR, CA, GA, IA, ID, IL, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MS, NE, OK, OR, SC, TN, TX, VA, or WV are preferred.
• Strong command of English is required.
• Strong attention to detail, high accuracy, technical aptitude, and ability to learn complex software.

Nice to have

• Bilingual Spanish language skills.
• Experience in mail order, specialty, or closed-door fulfillment pharmacy.
