Pharmacist-in-Charge (Specialty Pharmacy)

Location: Batchelor, Louisiana, United States; onsite at 6450 LA Hwy 1. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Base compensation: $135,000–$160,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead pharmacy operations and provide personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services.
• Build relationships with local physicians and the medical community to support accurate and safe medication dispensing.
• Guide pharmacy staff development through leadership, business acumen, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and specialty diseases including autoimmune conditions, oncology, Hepatitis C, and HIV.
• Provide clinical oversight and participate in committees supporting innovation in medication management.

Requirements

• Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Successful completion of the Louisiana state pharmacy board examination and a current, good-standing Louisiana pharmacist license.
• Current continuing education requirements.
• Three years of pharmacy practice experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, move throughout the shift, lift up to 25 pounds, and distinguish colors and shapes.

Nice to have

• Two to three years of pharmacy management experience.
