Pharmacy Technician (Specialty Pharmacy)

Location: St Joseph, Missouri, United States; onsite at 101 Mosaic Court, Suite 102. Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm.

Salary: $21.00-$25.00.

What you will do

• Help the pharmacist prepare and dispense medications accurately.
• Provide personalized patient support through in-person and phone communication.
• Develop knowledge of specialty diseases, including autoimmune conditions, oncology, hepatitis C, and HIV.
• Enter patient, medication, billing, and sales data accurately into pharmacy systems.
• Support continuous improvement and effective collaboration within the pharmacy team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Active, non-expired license or registration with the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy technician duties.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform other movement throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and distinguish colors and shapes.

Nice to have

• Active Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician certification through PTCB or NHA.
• Active, non-expired license or registration with the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy.
