Pharmacy Technician II (Specialty Fulfillment - Onsite Mail-order)

Location: Onsite at Acaria Health Pharmacy, 5 Skyline Drive, Suite 240, Hawthorne, NY 10532. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern Time.

Salary: $19.43–$32.98 per hour

What you will do

• Prepare, count, label, package, and pick prescription medications for pharmacist approval.
• Support fulfillment of specialty medications, including biologics and injectables, while following cold-chain, hazardous drug, compounding, and safety procedures.
• Purchase, receive, monitor, and reconcile pharmacy inventory, including back-orders, discontinued products, and limited-distribution medications.
• Maintain prescription logs, inventory reports, temperature and cleaning logs, calibration records, and other audit-ready documentation.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, provider offices, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely prescription fulfillment.
• Follow state and federal regulations, quality standards, accreditation requirements, HIPAA, PBM requirements, and pharmacy policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of pharmacy technician or medical office experience.
• Familiarity with medications used to treat chronic or debilitating illnesses.
• Work onsite at the Hawthorne, New York pharmacy location.
• New York pharmacy technician registration and PTCB certification are highly preferred; candidates without current PTCB certification must be willing to obtain it after hire.
• Strong attention to detail, inventory management skills, communication abilities, and experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
