Technical Accountant with English and Spanish or Italian

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: EUR 1,300–2,200 per month for a full-time role, plus a performance-based bonus

What you will do

• Administer a portfolio of client accounts, primarily for insurance companies and brokers.
• Verify client data against reinsurance treaties.
• Investigate and clarify discrepancies with internal departments and clients.
• Analyze accounting data, book transactions, and manage cash flow.
• Interpret accounting information and proactively investigate issues.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for working with numbers.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient written and spoken English.
• Communicative, diligent, detail-oriented, and proactive working style.
• Availability to work in the hybrid Bratislava role.

Nice to have

• Written and spoken Spanish or Italian at strong B1 or B2 level.
• Experience or interest in insurance and reinsurance.
