Senior Tax Governance & Controls Framework Specialist

What you will do

• Maintain and continuously improve global Tax Risk & Control frameworks covering FATCA/CRS, US Withholding and CESOP.
• Translate regulatory and policy requirements into practical controls and implementation guidance.
• Lead the implementation of new and updated framework requirements across ING locations, coordinating timelines, risks and stakeholders.
• Plan and oversee control monitoring and testing, review outcomes, and drive follow-up actions.
• Facilitate governance meetings, prepare management reporting and decision materials, and support escalations.
• Identify process improvements and promote standardisation and best practices across locations.

Requirements

• Experience in risk, controls, governance, compliance, audit or a related field.
• Proven ability to coordinate complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong project management, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience preparing management reporting and governance materials.
• Ability to challenge constructively, influence stakeholders and drive delivery.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Non-Financial Risk, Internal Controls, Operational Risk or Compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of ING governance processes, KCM/KCT, iRisk or related tooling.
• Exposure to FATCA, CRS, CESOP or other regulatory frameworks.
