Assistant Menswear Designer

What you will do

• Research seasonal trends in fabrics, weaves, colours, prints, checks, and casual silhouettes.
• Translate design briefs and trend insights into commercially successful menswear products.
• Develop collections from initial mood boards through to final garments.
• Balance aspirational design, comfort, production costs, and high-street commercial requirements.
• Collaborate with buyers, merchandisers, and technical teams to ensure designs are technically sound and delivered on schedule.

Requirements

• Relevant design experience or a degree in a related field.
• Understanding of menswear garment construction, shapes, detailing, fabric washes, and technical trims.
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong organisation, communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills.
• Applications must include a digital portfolio; applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
• Candidates requiring sponsorship must meet Home Office sponsorship requirements.
