Assistant Bedding Print & Pattern Designer - Kids & Adults

Location: Typically onsite five days a week, with core flexible hours between 8am and 6pm. The role references hirify.global locations in the United Kingdom, including Leicester Head Office.

What you will do

• Research global interior trends, colour palettes, and fabric innovations for Kids and Adult Bedding collections.
• Create commercial design concepts, original print and pattern artwork, colourways, and detailed CADs for bedding and coordinating soft accessories.
• Prepare accurate design specification sheets and factory-ready artwork files for global suppliers.
• Track production samples, review strike-offs, and prepare samples for seasonal range reviews.
• Support presentations to Buyers and management while collaborating with Designers, Buyers, Merchandisers, and Technologists.

Requirements

• Background or relevant qualification in Textile Design, Surface Pattern, Fashion, or Home Interiors.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for repeat patterns, colourways, and product CADs.
• Strong commercial and creative judgement, including an understanding of the hirify.global customer and market-appropriate design.
• Strong organisation, time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Applications must include a digital portfolio; applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
• Candidates requiring sponsorship must meet Home Office sponsorship requirements.
