What you will do
- Install, maintain, improve, repair, and inspect mechanical and electrical plant, equipment, services, and building installations.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance through the engineering CMMS and prioritize work according to criticality.
- Attend breakdowns, diagnose faults, resolve technical issues, and return equipment to operational service.
- Work with operational management and operators to support production and minimize downtime.
- Estimate job completion times, assess the consequences of delays, and report breakdown root causes and equipment concerns.
- Follow permit-to-work arrangements, engineering standards, quality regulations, and site safety procedures.
Requirements
- Experience carrying out engineering maintenance activities on industrial plant and equipment.
- Capability in mechanical and electrical installation, repair, inspection, and fault diagnosis.
- Ability to problem-solve with minimal production downtime and work under general supervision.
- Ability to identify and escalate activities that could cause harm or damage.
- Commitment to safe, timely, professional, and high-quality maintenance work.
