Application Development Associate (Azure)

Location: On-site in Tampa, Florida; 5 days per week on site during the first year

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 per year plus bonus

hirify.global is recruiting for a wealth management client developing internally developed and third-party software solutions.

What you will do

• Develop and test software from inception through user acceptance for medium- to large-scale projects.
• Collaborate with scrum teams on technical design, implementation, and coding.
• Work with Product Owners to estimate and refine upcoming work.
• Participate in technical discussions and follow the technical direction provided by senior leadership.
• Support production software operations.
• Contribute as a technical delivery specialist and mentor more junior team members.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or hold U.S. permanent resident status.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or another scientific field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of software development experience.
• Experience with Azure, event-driven programming, API programming, relational databases, .NET, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience building REST-based API services, microservice architectures, and messaging frameworks such as EventHub and Service Bus.

Nice to have

• Experience with testing and automation.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory.
