C# Developer (.NET)

Location: 100% remote within the United States; candidates from California, Colorado, Illinois, New Jersey, and New York will not be considered.

What you will do

• Plan requirements, testing, software integration, deployment, maintenance, and technical support for software systems.
• Develop and support .NET back-end applications using C#, MVC, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and apply Agile, DevOps, modularization, and test automation practices.
• Improve application performance, quality, responsiveness, reusability, and production stability.
• Document software designs, data flows, modules, and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and development colleagues, participate in daily stand-ups, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance.
• At least five years of professional software development experience using .NET technologies, with experience delivering complex enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, OOP, design patterns, MVC, RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Experience with cloud platforms, version control, CI/CD, unit testing, Agile methodologies, DevOps, infrastructure as code, and web application security.
• A bachelor's degree with eight or more years of experience, a master's degree with five or more years, or a Ph.D. with three or more years in a relevant technical discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with EDI X.12 medical claims, including 837, 834, and 277 transactions.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, ECS, and EKS.
