Senior Staff Product Manager, Account Risk (Fintech)

Salary: $205,500–$278,000 per year base pay, with potential bonus, equity, and benefits

What you will do

• Own account-risk funnel outcomes, including approval, conversion, fraud loss, false-positive, and churn metrics.
• Define how rules, machine-learning models, verification steps, and data signals combine into real-time account decisions.
• Reduce customer friction through auto-approval, progressive verification, and silent remediation.
• Advance AI-native decision flows with strong performance, explainability, and operational guardrails.
• Evaluate and integrate third-party vendors and ecosystem data while managing quality, coverage, and cost trade-offs.
• Partner with engineering, AI science, risk policy, compliance, and operations to prioritize delivery and communicate results.

Requirements

• 6+ years of risk product management experience with ownership of complex, technical, multi-team initiatives.
• Demonstrated ownership of risk, fraud, identity, or onboarding decisioning outcomes and related business metrics.
• Working knowledge of KYC, KYB, identity verification, and AML controls.
• Experience partnering with data science and machine-learning teams to develop, evaluate, and productionize models.
• Technical fluency in real-time decisioning, rules and policy engines, APIs, experimentation, analytics, and A/B testing.
• Bachelor's degree required; experience in payments, fintech, e-commerce, or another high-scale financial domain required.

• Master's degree or MBA.
• Experience evaluating, integrating, and operationalizing third-party data vendors and pipelines.
