TL;DR
Embedded Software Engineer Intern (C/C++/Rust) (Semiconductor/Memory): Developing embedded software to validate SoC components and storage solutions for non-volatile memory devices across concept, prototyping, and mass production phases with an accent on firmware-level programming, memory systems, and computer architecture. Focus on exercising SoC components, testing NVMe and PCIe technologies, and supporting FPGA-based development workflows.
Location: San Jose, United States
Compensation: $35–$45 per hour

What you will do
- Develop embedded software for system-on-chip devices used in non-volatile memory products.
- Validate products from the concept and prototyping phases through mass production.
- Write software that exercises essential SoC components.
- Contribute to SoC development and storage solution development.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a BS or MS in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with Rust or C/C++ for embedded or firmware-level development.
- Familiarity with Python for scripting and testing workflows.
- Familiarity with digital circuit design, computer architecture, and memory systems.
Nice to have
- PhD research in system-on-chip, high-performance computing, memory, or storage.
- In-depth knowledge of NVMe, PCIe, or NAND technologies.
- Familiarity with FPGA development workflows.
