Senior Manager II, Site Engineer - Supply Chain

Location: Apple Valley, California, United States; onsite at the Walmart Distribution Center

Salary: $128,000–$192,000 annual, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock or regional pay zone compensation.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end operational improvements across the Distribution Center in partnership with General Management and Process Improvement leadership.
• Manage Process Quality Engineer workloads across network-driven projects and site-specific improvement initiatives.
• Apply root cause analysis, time and motion studies, statistical process control, process deviation analysis, 5S, and Six Sigma methods to eliminate losses.
• Implement and sustain standard work, One Best Way processes, the Walmart Performance System, and Daily Management System countermeasures.
• Drive multiple business plans and projects by setting performance standards, measuring progress, removing barriers, and adapting execution plans.
• Supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate associates while building a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field plus 4 years of experience in continuous improvement or a related area, or 6 years of relevant engineering or continuous improvement experience.
• 4 years of experience leading teams.
• Knowledge and practical application of Quality Management System elements, including statistical process control, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, and quality KPIs.
• Demonstrated ownership of projects that delivered sustainable, long-term savings.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must work onsite at the Apple Valley, California Distribution Center.

Nice to have

• Experience conducting work measurement, predetermined time systems, and related analysis.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or Computer Engineering.
