What you will do

  • Define project and program objectives, outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource plans.
  • Prepare project plans and coordinate deliverables from planning through implementation.
  • Track product and process specifications, costs, resource utilization, schedules, reports, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate internal resources and collaborate with intra-business-unit design teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Research project obstacles, support resolution efforts, and maintain process-improvement tracking.
  • Support research and development of new technologies and integrate new processes, designs, and methodologies into products and services.

Requirements

  • Conceptual and practical expertise in the relevant discipline with basic knowledge of related disciplines.
  • Knowledge of best practices and how the discipline integrates with other business areas.
  • Ability to solve complex problems using analysis from multiple information sources and sound judgment.
  • Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus across teams.
  • Ability to work within broad guidelines and policies while managing project and operational activities.
  • Must work in Austin, TX; relocation is not available, and travel of approximately 10% is required.
