Manager RCM Training & Excellence (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Build and manage structured onboarding plans for RCM roles, including system practice, supervised work, assessments, and standards for independent performance.
• Create and coordinate practical role-based training, refresher sessions, remedial training, knowledge checks, and train-the-trainer support.
• Maintain a controlled inventory of current RCM SOPs, job aids, curricula, facilitator guides, approvals, owners, and review dates.
• Partner with RCM leaders and subject-matter experts to align training with workflows, payer requirements, coding rules, system changes, and approved policies.
• Analyze errors, denials, rework, productivity, and turnaround-time trends to determine whether corrective action requires training, documentation, workflow, system, staffing, or management changes.
• Lead assigned training and quality resources, report competency and corrective-action status, and support workflow and system changes before and after launch.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, education, business, health information management, instructional design, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of healthcare RCM experience, including 2 or more years in training, quality, onboarding, coaching, or operational enablement.
• Working knowledge of multiple RCM functions and payer requirements.
• Experience writing SOPs, job aids, curricula, assessments, and competency standards.
• Experience using audits, errors, denials, or performance data to identify training needs.
• Strong writing, facilitation, coaching, organization, analysis, presentation, and project leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in diagnostic, molecular, genetic, pathology, or specialty laboratory RCM.
• CRCR, CRCP/CRCE, CPC, CPB, CCS, instructional design, adult learning, Lean Six Sigma, or quality certification.
• Experience with LIMS, Quadax, Salesforce, laboratory billing systems, clearinghouses, payer portals, CRM, UAT, automation, or AI-enabled workflow changes.
