QA Engineer (Cypress)

What you will do

• Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases for functional, performance, and security testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end test suites using Cypress.
• Test distributed applications and microservices deployed in AWS environments for scalability and reliability.
• Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, document, and track defects in Azure DevOps or comparable tools such as JIRA.
• Lead QA initiatives, provide technical guidance, and promote quality engineering practices.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance.
• Active CompTIA Security+ or IAT Level II certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of total experience, including 5+ years in software quality assurance and at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Hands-on Cypress expertise, AWS application testing experience, and strong Azure DevOps knowledge.
• US citizenship required, along with analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Selenium or Appium.
• CMST, CSTE, CQE, or CPE certification.
