Software Quality Engineer (TypeScript)

Location: Vancouver, Canada; hybrid work model with both office and remote work

Salary: CAD 82,000–110,000 annually

What you will do

• Own quality for integrations connecting an Accounts Payable platform with ERP and accounting systems.
• Plan and execute manual, regression, acceptance, integration, exploratory, and edge-case testing.
• Validate data synchronization, workflows, mapping rules, and error conditions across systems.
• Collaborate with Product and Development teams through early requirements review, pair testing, and exploratory testing.
• Maintain and extend end-to-end test automation in TypeScript and recommend unit or integration test coverage.
• Maintain test documentation, regression suites, and QA reference materials.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience testing web applications, desktop software, and third-party integrations manually and through automation.
• Experience troubleshooting issues across application layers and managing QA from project kickoff through delivery.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to code in JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP, C#/.NET, or Python.
• Experience with Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or comparable automation frameworks.
• Experience with Jira, Linux command-line operations, and Linux, Windows, or macOS environments.

Nice to have

• Experience testing integrations and data synchronization across services.
• Familiarity with ERP, accounting systems, or Accounts Payable concepts.
• Basic experience using AI tools to support QA workflows.
