Senior Architect (Hospitality)

Location: Chicago or Minneapolis, United States. Four days per week are spent in the office, with flexibility to work elsewhere on Fridays.

Salary: $84,700–$144,430 USD annually.

What you will do

• Lead project development, client relationships, and project implementation with the Project Manager and Project Designer.
• Oversee project documentation, quality assurance and control, practice standards, and protocol compliance.
• Develop conceptual designs and technical strategies while coordinating multidisciplinary building design teams.
• Align design intent with project schedules, budgets, profitability targets, and work plans.
• Present design and technical solutions to clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor teams, maintain communication across disciplines, and support timely delivery of high-quality project work.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Architecture and professional licensure.
• At least 8 years of professional architecture experience.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience coordinating design and technical solutions.
• Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and standard architecture software.
• Ability to lead sustainable design principles in technical plans and deliverables.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, marketing, and business development skills; a current PDF portfolio or work samples is required.
