Job Captain (Interior Design/Architecture)

Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid with three days together in the studio and regular onsite attendance required

Salary: $75,000–$100,000 per year, plus benefits and bonuses

What you will do

• Develop architecture and interior design projects across different types and scales.
• Contribute to projects from concept design through construction.
• Develop construction documents for review.
• Coordinate consultants, clients, project teams, and furniture vendors.
• Support project management, construction administration, budget review, and building-code coordination.
• Manage furniture processes and deliveries while contributing to 3D visualization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 4–8+ years of experience at an architecture or design studio.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience working with project teams from concept design through construction.
• Strong conceptual, visual, graphic, organizational, and communication skills.
• Must be local to one of the studios and available onsite regularly.

Nice to have

• State licensure or active pursuit of state licensure.
• Experience with project management, construction administration, budget review, building codes, consultant coordination, and client relations.
