Capital Markets Associate - Commodity Derivatives Product Group

What you will do

• Support senior sales team members with the sales process and execution of capital markets transactions.
• Perform financial analyses, conduct research, and prepare reports and supporting documents.
• Coordinate due diligence, document processing, and industry and company analysis.
• Develop transaction pitches and provide client relationship support.
• Build knowledge of industries, clients, products, markets, regulations, and relevant tools and systems.
• Apply customer-focused decision-making and manage business risks within the enterprise risk management framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and typically 2+ years of relevant professional experience, or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• Skills in financial analysis, corporate finance, investments, trading strategies, client relationship building, and decision-making.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Required licensing: SIE, Series 7, and Series 63, or ability to obtain them within 120 days of employment.
• Must work in the Houston office; employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT are not available.
