Manager, Dry Docks (Logistics)

Location: Remote within the United States, with candidates primarily sourced from Orlando, Tampa, Atlanta, Houston, and Dallas; if expanded, candidates must be located in Florida, Georgia, Texas, or North Carolina. Regular travel to Carnival headquarters in Miami, Florida, and 25–50% travel with likely shipboard travel are required.

What you will do

• Plan and execute inbound, on-site, and reverse logistics for dry dock and special projects across the CCL fleet.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects with strict timelines, site-specific constraints, and high material volumes.
• Oversee 3PL provider performance, contracts, service levels, daily execution, and issue resolution.
• Develop master shipping schedules, cutoff dates, project metrics, KPIs, and exception-management processes.
• Coordinate with Technical, Hotel Refurbishment, DDPMO, Purchasing, and senior leadership to align logistics with project objectives.
• Lead post-project lessons-learned reviews and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering, or Finance.
• 5–8 years of experience in material logistics and third-party contractor management.
• Strong computer skills, including robust Excel abilities.
• Experience solving time-critical logistics challenges involving vendor delays, customs, port constraints, capacity limitations, and schedule compression.
• Ability to establish deadlines and communicate schedules, escalate issues, and provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ability to work remotely from the approved United States locations and travel regularly, including likely shipboard travel.
