Facilities Technician - Nights

Location: West Lebanon, New Hampshire, United States. Onsite night-shift work at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, with occasional overnight travel of 0–10%.

Develops and manufactures pharmaceutical treatments, including hemophilia, growth hormone, and other chronic disease therapies.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment and utility systems.
• Monitor equipment, respond to alarms, and troubleshoot and repair manufacturing-related systems.
• Maintain HVAC, heating and hot water, boilers, chillers, natural gas, electrical systems, plant and clean steam, wastewater, water treatment, and process equipment.
• Develop knowledge of building and process automation systems, including BMS and PCS.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with engineering and manufacturing departments.
• Complete maintenance work orders and facilities requests in the CMMS, and train junior personnel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience in equipment operation and maintenance; facilities systems experience is preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and proper use of hand tools.
• Ability to read and understand equipment and system drawings.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a physically demanding environment.
• Ability to work in sterile cleanroom areas and follow GMP processes, including required gowning and material restrictions.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a life sciences, pharmaceutical, GMP, sterile, or cleanroom environment.
• Maintenance or mechanic experience from another industry with an interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
