Manufacturing Technician II - Inspection (Nights) (Biomanufacturing)

What you will do

• Operate automated inspection equipment, monitor equipment status, reintroduce materials, palletize inspected materials, and maintain product flow.
• Perform manual visual, cosmetic, and physical inspections and escalate defects or concerns.
• Start up equipment, make minor adjustments, clear jams, troubleshoot, and support cleaning-related assembly and disassembly.
• Perform material handling, cold-room transfers, cleaning, housekeeping, line clearances, and inventory control using SAP.
• Complete batch records, GMP documentation, calculations, logs, SOPs, and forms accurately.
• Support lean manufacturing, 5S, process improvement, cross-training, and daily Tier 1 meetings.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Ability to detect visual defects and perform repetitive inspection work with sustained accuracy.
• Experience with documentation, data entry, batch records, logbooks, and routine mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to interpret SOPs, batch records, and work instructions.
• Ability to follow written procedures, identify deviations, and escalate issues with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding production environment, use PPE, pass an onboarding eye exam, and work a 12-hour rotating 2/2/3 night-shift schedule.

Nice to have

• High school, vocational school, or equivalent education.
• Inspection experience and at least one year in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cGMP-regulated manufacturing.
• Knowledge of cGMP, GDP, defect classification, batch documentation, SAP, Veeva Vault, Microsoft applications, or lean manufacturing.
