Avionics Production Supervisor - Afternoons

Location: On-site at the electronics manufacturing facility in Cedar Park, Texas, working the 3:00–11:30 p.m. afternoon shift. On-site support may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

What you will do

• Lead and supervise technicians manufacturing cable harnesses, electrical component assemblies, and avionics subsystems.
• Coordinate shift resources, readiness checks, handovers, schedules, timecards, and production recovery plans.
• Monitor floor operations, work instructions, safety practices, quality, cost, and schedule performance.
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve production issues and support program objectives.
• Develop skills matrices, identify staffing and training needs, and coach technicians toward high performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce cost, improve quality, and increase manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements

• 4+ years of cable harness or avionics manufacturing experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of experience with multiple manufacturing processes, including wire processing, harness testing, connector termination, soldering, and crimping.
• Experience improving shop procedures and work instructions, with strong technical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing software systems; a safety- and compliance-focused approach is required.
• Must be able to work on-site in Cedar Park, Texas, support the assigned shift including nights, weekends, and holidays, lift up to 50 lbs, and work with required PPE.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the authorizations required under ITAR regulations.

Nice to have

• Leadership experience in an aerospace or space production environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, AS9100, or NADCAP requirements.
• IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-A-610, and/or IPC J-STD-001 certification.
