People Partner

Location: Based at the Aromas, California facility with regular travel to Richmond, California and Spokane, Washington; travel across the distributed team is expected.

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year, plus 2,000 stock options and eligibility for a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Advise department managers and supervisors on performance management, employee development, conduct expectations, talent decisions, succession, and team effectiveness.
• Lead employee relations processes, workplace investigations, difficult conversations, and consistent documentation.
• Guide leadership on California wage and hour laws, HR policies, compliance, and operational decisions.
• Deliver training and learning initiatives covering professional development, compliance, DEI, respectful workplaces, and company practices.
• Build workforce engagement and maintain a visible presence across operational areas and locations.
• Use HRIS data, project management, and AI tools to provide actionable people insights.

Requirements

• Experience serving as a trusted HR advisor to managers and employees.
• Strong knowledge of HR systems, employment law, employee relations, and workplace investigations.
• Experience supporting a diverse workforce of 300 or more employees.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Comfort working across leadership advisory and hands-on workplace operations.
• Willingness to travel regularly between company locations.
