Quality & Compliance Specialist

Location: Hybrid in Tonawanda, New York; must live within 50 miles of the location.

Salary: $21.14–$29.59 USD hourly

What you will do

• Review customs entries and related documentation for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
• Verify tariff classifications and correct entry discrepancies using approved databases, SOPs, tariff resources, and government websites.
• Review shipments before release and collect missing or incomplete customs compliance documentation from customers.
• Audit automated processing, investigate ABI errors and Census warnings, and support process improvements and AI enhancements.
• Ensure shipments subject to Other Government Agency requirements comply with applicable regulations and company policies.
• Provide feedback, coaching referrals, training, and customer service while collaborating with internal teams and external customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least three years of business or customer service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work independently and collaboratively.
• Must live within 50 miles of the Tonawanda, New York location.
