Consultant (Public Sector)

Location: United States, Florida; hybrid with travel and onsite requirements

Salary: $65,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Review business operations and evaluate programs to identify service, efficiency, and process improvements.
• Assess best practices and provide technical assistance to state and local agency clients.
• Manage small projects, staff, daily project functions, timelines, budgets, and client interactions.
• Facilitate discussions, delegate tasks, and communicate with client and management stakeholders.
• Lead proposal-writing teams and prepare client reports, written materials, and presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or five years of experience; five or more years of relevant work experience required.
• Ability to understand state-administered programs, federal regulations, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong Microsoft Office and data analytics skills, with accuracy when working with large data sets.
• Strong business writing, presentation, problem-solving, judgment, and client communication skills.
• Ability to move projects forward within defined timelines and budgets while working independently.
• Availability during set working hours and ability to work from a safe, private, distraction-free environment; travel to offices or client locations may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle Cloud ERP, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Infor, or PeopleSoft.
• Knowledge of ERP architecture, integrations, data management, reporting, and enterprise application development.
• Experience with SAP ABAP, SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, CDS Views, OData Services, or SAP Integration Suite.
• Experience with large-scale ERP implementation, upgrade, or transformation programs.
• Knowledge of project management, SDLC, and IT service management practices.
