Logistics Operations Manager - Customer Oniste, Locust Grove (Atlanta, GA)

Location: On-site at the customer facility in Locust Grove (Atlanta, Georgia), with the listed company location in Ellenwood, Georgia, USA. The role includes 10–20% local travel and occasional off-shift or on-call coverage.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for site operations exceptions, operational reporting, and escalation management.
• Monitor KPIs including OTIF, dock-to-stock, inventory accuracy, ticket SLAs, cost savings, and process-improvement metrics.
• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations at a 590,000-square-foot facility and coordinate with 3PL partners, hubs, spokes, and transportation teams.
• Review ticket queues, route issues, track resolutions, and present clear status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead process-improvement, cost-saving, pilot, tracker, and volume-planning initiatives using PDCA, DMAIC, and A3 methods.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings, document decisions and action items, and build alignment across operations leaders and customer teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years of supply chain or logistics experience, preferably in distribution, a distribution center, or 3PL operations.
• Senior or Tier 3 experience managing large-scale escalations, financial backlogs, international receiving programs, or complex cross-functional projects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP, SQL, enterprise dashboard reporting, Microsoft Excel, and project tools.
• Advanced data analysis, problem-solving, business-process documentation, and continuous-improvement skills.
• Strong customer service, communication, relationship-building, and independent decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
