VP, Engineering (AI)

Location: Bellevue, WA, United States. Hybrid schedule of 1–3 office days per week for employees near the Bellevue or New York offices; fully remote work is available for eligible employees located farther from company offices. Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States.

Target cash compensation: $226,300–$296,450 USD annually, including base salary, variable commission for eligible roles, and annual bonus targets.

What you will do

• Own engineering execution, delivery quality, reliability, and cost across the Creative, Audience, and Outcomes product portfolio.
• Define technical direction and architectural standards for scalable, secure systems, data pipelines, services, and customer-facing applications.
• Lead the development and commercialization of AI capabilities, including generative AI, agentic systems, machine learning, creative intelligence, audience measurement, and outcome attribution.
• Build and develop engineering and AI organizations through hiring, performance management, succession planning, and talent development.
• Partner with Product Management, Data Science, Platform, and Go-to-Market teams to establish roadmaps, productionize models, and deliver measurable customer value.
• Drive operational excellence across incident response, observability, data quality, security, privacy, governance, cloud spend, and engineering metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• 15+ years of technology leadership experience, including 5+ years leading engineering organizations through managers.
• Experience shipping and operating large-scale, data-intensive SaaS products in production.
• Strong background in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, modern data platforms, data pipelines, AI, machine learning, and customer-facing technology.
• Experience leading cross-functional organizations across engineering, product management, and data science while remaining technically hands-on.
• Current United States work authorization is required; visa sponsorship and transfer of employment visa sponsorship are not available.

Nice to have

• Experience in advertising technology, media measurement, marketing technology, or consumer insights.
• Experience with streaming ingestion, data warehousing, identity resolution, MLOps, cloud-native AI platforms, or agentic AI systems in production.
• Experience leading platform migrations, replatforming, post-acquisition technical integration, or creating AI-enabled products and revenue streams.
• Advanced technical degree.
