Senior Project Manager, Healthcare and Life Sciences

Location: United States; candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of a hirify.global office or approved coworking location. Consultants may work onsite at client locations based on engagement needs and are expected to work from a hirify.global office or approved coworking location at least three days per week between client engagements.

Salary: $105,000–$126,000 base salary annually, plus an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Provide strategic oversight of healthcare and life sciences projects, aligning milestones, scope, budget, quality, and timelines.
• Own the content, quality, review, and distribution of project reports, dashboards, schedules, budgets, risks, and forecasts.
• Lead product development meetings and facilitate communication with internal teams, clients, leadership, and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across clinical, nonclinical, medical affairs, quality, regulatory, finance, legal, contracts, and related functions.
• Manage project financials, including budgets, invoices, actuals, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Identify and mitigate strategic risks while maintaining compliance with hirify.global/LBG quality standards.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in life sciences product development, including familiarity with nonclinical, analytical, clinical, and regulatory functions.
• At least 5 years of project management experience delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
• Experience managing United States Government contracted programs and project financials.
• Fluency in MS Project or other scheduling software, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, problem-solving, negotiation, consensus-building, and collaboration skills.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or a master’s degree in project management or business.
• A BS in biology, chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Understanding of the product development lifecycle, pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, cGXP guidelines, and FDA regulatory requirements.
