PMO Sr. Project Manager (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: United States — Kansas — McPherson; hybrid work location assignment.

Annual base salary: $99,200–$165,400, plus a 12.5% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Lead or co-lead moderately complex projects, including technical transfer projects and work packages.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and status reporting.
• Coordinate cross-functional meetings, drive accountability for deliverables, and liaise between project teams and line management.
• Guide operational teams in project management, resource forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Resolve project issues and develop solutions supporting productivity, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Support global conference calls, 24/7 manufacturing needs, and limited business travel when required.

Requirements

• BA/BS with at least 4 years of experience, MBA/MS with at least 2 years, PhD/JD with any experience, or equivalent experience through an associate’s degree or high school diploma.
• Experience in commercial or customer-facing roles, technical transfer projects, integrated project scheduling, and cross-functional leadership.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing, associated processes, Pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and Pharmaceutical Sciences infrastructure.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, data analysis, and software application skills.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization is required; U.S. visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree and experience managing pharmaceutical, technical, medical device, or clinical projects.
• Project management methodology certification and at least 3 years of hands-on project management experience.
• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project or Planner.
• Experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, including responsible AI practices.
• Leadership, mentoring, and team management experience.
