CPO National Integrated Heat Health Information System (NIHHIS) Support - NOAA (Climate and Health)

Location: Based out of Silver Spring, Maryland, USA; remote work with hybrid and in-person participation as required

What you will do

• Provide web and data science services for Heat.gov, including user engagement, tool and service development, maintenance, and design.
• Prepare NIHHIS newsletters, social media, briefing sheets, presentations, posters, and other communication materials.
• Plan and deliver heat-related workshops, tabletop exercises, meetings, webinars, and outreach activities, including logistics, agendas, summaries, and action tracking.
• Coordinate stakeholder, awardee, peer review, and strategic planning activities across NOAA offices and external partners.
• Execute Urban Heat Island Mapping Campaigns, including community application reviews, observational technology development, data collection, quality control, maps, datasets, and reports.
• Coordinate NOAA One Health collaboration, maintain related websites and materials, and support partnerships and Memoranda of Understanding with agencies such as CDC, USDA, and NPS.

Requirements

• Must be based out of Silver Spring, Maryland, USA.
• Must be available for hybrid and in-person work as required.
• Experience or expertise in climate and health research, web services, data science, stakeholder engagement, communications, or related program execution.
• Ability to coordinate workshops, webinars, peer reviews, strategic initiatives, and multi-agency collaborations.
• Ability to develop and manage datasets, maps, reports, websites, presentations, and other public-facing materials.
