Location: San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY; hybrid policy requires staff to work from an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time. Travel to partner sites and to the San Francisco headquarters approximately every six weeks for staff based outside San Francisco; approximately 20% travel.
Annual salary: $300,000–$365,000 USD. For sales roles, compensation ranges include target commissions or bonuses; this role's range is stated as annual compensation.

What you will do
- Contribute to the US public health strategy by identifying priority partners and use cases.
- Own a portfolio of flagship deployments and coordinate with applied AI, product, policy, and go-to-market teams.
- Source, evaluate, and onboard partners while structuring engagements within government procurement, data governance, and privacy constraints.
- Translate partner needs into deployment plans that account for legacy systems and public health workforce realities.
- Build shared resources, digital public goods, and an evidence base through collaboration with academic and evaluation organizations.
- Represent Anthropic with public health convenings, funders, policymakers, and partner organizations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in US public health, health policy, or public-sector health innovation.
- 5+ years managing external partnerships, multi-stakeholder initiatives, or government and civil-society programs.
- Deep relationships and credibility across the US public health ecosystem, including federal agencies, state health departments, schools of public health, and foundations.
- Working knowledge of how federal, state, and local public health agencies operate, fund programs, and adopt technology.
- Technical fluency in AI concepts and LLM capabilities and limitations, with the ability to collaborate with technical teams.
- Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; an MPH or related credential is preferred for the role.
Nice to have
- Experience inside a federal or state health agency such as CDC, HHS, or a state department of health.
- Background in epidemiology, ideally with hands-on public health surveillance experience.
- Global experience or experience at a healthtech company, AI organization, or in a product-adjacent role.
