Senior Staff Accountant (Manufacturing)

Location: Norristown, Pennsylvania, United States; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Prepare journal entries, maintain general ledger records, perform reconciliations, and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
• Prepare financial statements, supporting schedules, audit materials, and tax reporting documentation.
• Manage inventory and cost accounting for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods, including valuation, reserves, standard costs, and variance analysis.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoices, payments, customer accounts, aging, collections, and discrepancy resolution.
• Reconcile cash and bank activity, monitor cash requirements, and support cash flow reporting and forecasting.
• Maintain controls and improve accounting processes in collaboration with Purchasing, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and other departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with inventory accounting, cost accounting, accounts payable, cash management, sales tax compliance, and financial reporting.
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, manufacturing accounting, analytical methods, organization, problem-solving, and communication.
