Senior Accountant (Manufacturing)

hirify.global Enterprises operates fly-fishing brands including Sage, Redington, RIO Products, and Fly Water Travel, spanning equipment, apparel, fishing products, and outdoor experiences.

What you will do

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, month-end adjustments, account reconciliations, and general ledger reviews.
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
• Manage bank reconciliations, treasury transactions, merchant processing, cash forecasting, and receivables-related issues.
• Own accounting systems including ePAY, treasury automation, banking and credit card platforms, and the ERP system.
• Prepare audit schedules, maintain internal controls and procedures, and support external auditors.
• Lead ERP enhancements, testing, documentation, system implementations, and accounting process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience with monthly financial close processes, account reconciliations, and profit improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Sage, or Epicor, plus advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or progress toward CPA certification.
• Public accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, consumer products, outdoor sporting goods, or related industries.
• Experience with organizations generating $25M–$100M in revenue.
• Experience with business intelligence, financial reporting systems, or process automation.
• Interest in fly fishing.
