Staff Engineer - Embedded Firmware Development - CXL / PCIe / Near-memory Accelerator / Memory-Expansion Controllers (CXL/PCIe)

Salary: $111,070–$166,400 per year, plus bonus and equity eligibility

What you will do

• Develop firmware for CXL and PCIe endpoint devices.
• Contribute to the Structera CXL product line, including near-memory accelerators and memory-expansion controllers.
• Help define project goals and schedules and execute projects across a distributed engineering organization.
• Collaborate with architecture, development, QA and validation, system test, product management, documentation, and customer teams.
• Mentor and train engineers while promoting an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance environment.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science or computer engineering.
• 6+ years of experience developing firmware for embedded systems.
• Strong experience with the Zephyr development environment and C/C++ firmware design.
• Very good ARM M7 debugging skills.
• Knowledge of encryption standards and a good understanding of PCIe concepts.
