Entry Level Chemist: Trace Analysis and Structural Chemistry

Location: Columbia, Missouri, USA; candidates must currently live within commutable distance. Full-time onsite schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm, with additional hours as needed.

What you will do

• Perform analytical work for research and development studies under cGMP and GLP guidelines.
• Conduct trace analysis and structural chemistry activities using HPLC, GC, and other analytical techniques and instruments.
• Complete study documentation in accordance with protocols, standard operating procedures, and prescribed methods.
• Work with increasing independence on laboratory studies and assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or a directly related field.
• Laboratory experience or familiarity with a laboratory setting is required.
• Experience with HPLC and/or GC.
• Strong organization, communication, and ability to follow direction.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with GLP/GMP.
• Experience with LIMS.
