Associate Chemist - Environment Testing - PFAS Prep - 2nd Shift, Sun - Thurs

Location: Lancaster, PA, USA; full-time on-site, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Sunday–Thursday. Training is Monday–Friday on the first shift.

Salary: $18–$19.80 per hour, plus a 10% second-shift differential.

What you will do

• Prepare and analyze environmental samples from various matrices using routine analytical methods.
• Prepare samples and quality-control materials for testing.
• Review, process, and assemble supporting analytical data.
• Follow EPA, company, client, and internal QC procedures and SOPs.
• Prepare standard solutions and reagents, perform basic equipment maintenance, and dispose of chemical waste safely.
• Apply GMP/GLP practices and work overtime when workload requires.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• Computer proficiency, including word-processing and spreadsheet programs.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Regular attendance, punctuality, and ability to work the Sunday–Thursday second shift.

Nice to have

• Previous sample-preparation experience.
