Digital Integrator, Lab Execution Systems

Location: Hybrid role available in Spring House or Malvern, Pennsylvania, United States, or Leiden, Netherlands.

What you will do

• Act as the digital lead and business partner for Plant Execution Systems supporting pilot plants, development laboratories, and manufacturing operations.
• Lead the deployment, adoption, integration, and continuous improvement of Manufacturing Execution Systems, OSI-PI, Asset Framework, Event Framework, and eLIMS integrations.
• Embed ontology, FAIR data practices, data quality, and contextualized manufacturing data into execution and storage systems.
• Integrate MES, OSI-PI, SAP, eLIMS, Benchling, Zontal, and enterprise data platforms for analytics and reporting.
• Partner with scientific, manufacturing, engineering, quality, Digital, IT, and OT teams on digital transformation and change management.
• Support governance, master data alignment, GxP-compliant processes, computerized system validation, traceability, and data integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cell therapy, gene therapy, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and OSI-PI, plus digital manufacturing or operational technology solutions.
• Understanding of GxP regulations, data integrity requirements, and computerized system validation.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
• Experience leading digital transformation or business process improvement initiatives.

Nice to have

• Understanding of ontology for pharmaceutical environments.
• Experience with PES-X, MES platforms, OSI-PI, LIMS, system integration, data architectures, or manufacturing analytics.
• Knowledge of SDLC and computerized system validation.
• Project management certification or experience leading complex programs.
