Sample Registration Support Specialist - Data Entry - Environment Testing - Tues-Sat, 1st Shift (Environment Testing)

Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA; onsite, Tuesday–Saturday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Training is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Salary: $17.75/hour

What you will do

• Interpret client sample requirements and enter sample information into the laboratory computer system.
• Coordinate client projects between project managers and the Sample Registration team.
• Deliver rush samples to the appropriate technical centers and unpack sample kits and coolers.
• Maintain client files, including quotes, purchase orders, bottle orders, and incoming sample records.
• Handle incoming departmental information calls and assist with labeling, filing, and other department activities.
• Follow standard operating procedures, GMP/GLP requirements, and laboratory safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer skills, including data entry, and the ability to interpret technical sample requirements.
• Professional working proficiency in English is required, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong organization, communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.

Nice to have

• At least one year of related laboratory experience.
• Ability to retain substantial amounts of information and support training for other employees.
